The New Avionics Customer Support Portal from SAFRAN Electronics & Defense is now live!
Safran Electronics & Defense’s Global Business Unit Avionics officially announced the launch of its new Avionics Customer Support portal on July 24, 2023. This deployment is part of a modernization initiative that combines simplicity and ergonomics, taking the user experience into account. Our teams are proud to offer a solution that meets the requirements and expectations of our clients!
The first step has already been taken with the operational deployment of two spaces:
- A public space including information related to the worldwide Avionics Support network,
- A private space including the “My Requests” module and a Spare parts catalog, requiring the creation of a personal account.

As of today, nearly 1000 users have subscribed to the portal, allowing them to access all the services offered by the Global Business Unit Avionics’ Customer Service Directorate.
The account creation request can be made through this link and is a mandatory prerequisite for access to the private space.
Account creation is done within 48 hours after analyzing each request.
The “My requests” module
This area enables any subscriber to submit “Sales” “Technical”. ” Technical documentation “, “Training”, “Quality” or “General” queries, and offers the advantage of tracking and capitalizing on all questions across the Global Business Unit Avionics’ worldwide support network. To date, almost 400 questions have been recorded, partially closed or in progress by the relevant departments.
The use of this module ensures significant traceability and a history of questions considered essential not only for the success of our clients’ operations but also for improving the quality of services from the Global Business Unit Avionics’ Customer Service Directorate.
Through this module, our clients already benefit from the following services:
- The space related to the Repair Capabilities of the global Avionics support network,
- The worldwide spare parts catalog in the Avionics scope.
Furthermore, by the end of 2023, the Customer Service Directorate of the Global Business Unit Avionics will deploy a “Technical Publications” module that will allow any eligible client controlled and secure access to technical documentation such as CMM, SB, SIL…
The Customer Service Directorate of the Global Business Unit Avionics thus offers a new foundation for interaction with its clients, evolving and utilizing the most modern technologies. It will enable our teams to develop new services to create more intimacy with our clients and continue our global development.
